About Us

Maraca Jacks have been entertaining children since 1994 across Hampshire.

Our lovely up beat classes have been specifically designed for babies from newborn to walking age and toddlers rising to age five.

We engage through popular action songs, nursery rhymes, finger rhymes, bright and colourful props and equipment, stories and games to encourage and promote our three c’s.

Unfortunatley, in December of 2018 the decision was made to close Maraca Jacks after 25 years of serving the community.

Where we began...

Caroline Payne and her team are very proud of their 'family' approach to every group.

Having worked in an Accounts Management position for 10 years, Caroline left to enjoy being a first time mum in 1995.  Finding Maraca Jacks in 2001 when she was on maternity leave with her second child, fired up her passion for music and movement because of the briliant way each lesson plan was delivered.  Joining the team and fitting each workshop around school runs and pre-school was ideal and when the company came up for sale in 2007, despite finding she was expecting her third child, Caroline decided to go ahead and purchase this well established business.

Since then, Maraca Jacks have been nominated in the National 'Whats on for little One awards' in 2011 and again in 2012 and Caroline has personally been a finalist for Hampshire Winning Women in Business and this year was awarded a finalists position in the Top 100 Mumpreneurs in the UK.

Now we are a team of 11 part time mums running over 40 workshops per week and multiple children's birthday parties. We feel very proud to be part of Maraca Jacks, delivering good quality written workshops for parents and carers and their children to enjoy.
